This package covers the entire elopement process, start to finish. From paperwork through to standing somewhere meaningful and getting married.

All the Legal Bits

Preparation and lodgement of all essential legal paperwork, including:

  • Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)

  • Declaration of No Legal Impediment

  • Registration of your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM)

A pre-elopement meeting, held in person or online, to sign final documents ahead of the day so nothing needs attention during the elopement itself.

Full legal compliance. Tara is the authorised celebrant required to be present to solemnise the marriage and make it official.

Planning the Elopement

It begins with a first meeting to talk things through and make sure it feels right.

You will discuss what you want the elopement to look like, how you want it to feel, and what matters most to you. From there, the ceremony is shaped through real conversations, not templates.

You will have access to Tara’s Elopement Ceremony Creation Guide, with prompts and ideas to support vows, structure, and meaningful choices. Planning meetings can be held in person or online, depending on what suits you.

Support is available as questions come up. The process stays clear and uncomplicated, without being hands-off.

On the Day

Every elopement ceremony is written from scratch.

It may be quiet and intentional, bold and unexpected, or somewhere in between. What matters is that it fits the place, the moment, and the two of you.

Delivery is natural, steady, and present. Nothing clunky. Nothing overworked. The ceremony flows cleanly so you can stay focused on the moment rather than what comes next.

Professional audio is available where required, using Tara’s RODE microphone system, compatible with venue and outdoor speaker setups so every word is heard clearly.

Keeping It Small

Elopements are intentionally simple.

  • Up to ten guests, keeping the focus on the moment rather than the crowd

  • Any location within Australia, provided it is safe, accessible, and legally appropriate

Whether that is a beach at sunrise, a mountain escape, a remote landscape, or somewhere meaningful to you, the ceremony is shaped to suit the setting rather than compete with it.

Additional Services and Inclusions

  • Travel
    Elopements within 50 kilometres of Tara’s Sunshine Coast base are included.
    Travel beyond this area is discussed and quoted based on location.

  • Rehearsal
    Available if you would like a run through prior to the day.

  • Hand Calligraphed Marriage Certificate
    Included in all packages.
    A keepsake created by a local Brisbane artist and presented as part of your ceremony.
